• winds up to 50 mph
• the worst of the storm is expected to hit Saturday night into Sunday morning.
• extreme temperatures with high winds will make outdoor conditions life threatening. 

Safety Precautions 

• Fireplace Safety - keep your fireplace clean when in regular use
• Space Heaters - turn space heaters off when leaving the room or going to bed. DO NOT use a space heater if the cord is damaged.
• Only use appliances for their intended purpose - never use an oven to heat your home.
• 3 Foot Rule - keep anything that can burn at least 3 feet away from all heat sources. 

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:

• Due to road conditions, 911 response time may be delayed.
• It is recommended to mark your driveway with markers every 10-15 feet to define boundaries in case of an emergency exit.
